QMetrix is a specialist consultancy providing Corporate Performance Management (CPM), Master Data Management (MDM), and Forms and Workflow Automation services across Australia. Our teams are located across Melbourne and Sydney, and we work with a number of technologies delivering solutions to a diverse range of clients across Victoria and interstate.

We are currently recruiting for talented and driven IT graduate who is interested in data. This is an excellent opportunity to kick start your career and work alongside a team of highly experienced consultants on a variety of exciting projects with ongoing training and cross-skilling.

This is a client facing role so you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a passion for consulting. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced consulting environment.

**The role**:

- Work closely with Senior Consultants to deliver BI and Data Management solutions
- Assist with developing Business Intelligence reports
- Assist with Building Data Warehouses / Data Modelling (Relational, Dimensional OLAP)
- Work with database systems (especially Microsoft SQL Server)
- Quickly learn and grasp new technologies
- Working with clients to understand and document processes
- Gather requirements from clients
- Assist with project documentation
- Engage with clients to troubleshoot technical issues
- Support business development activities including proposal support

**Required skills and background**:

- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
- Interest in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Information Management
- Ability to read and write SQL and a strong understanding of data modelling concepts (eg, ER, normalisation, multidimensional)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong passion for technology and how it can help improve business processes
- Proactive, self-driven with high career aspirations
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Able to do to short term interstate or regional travel when required
- Possess a current drivers licence and a vehicle
