**Position Title**: Accounts Receivable Officer (Government Role)

**Salary**: $34.40 per hour + Super

**Location**: Rozelle, NSW

**Employment Type**: Immediate Start, 12 Week Contract (with potential extension)

Our client seeks an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team, providing essential support in revenue collection processes related to Ambulance services. Key attributes include being a strong team player, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to question inconsistencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage revenue collection processes, including non-patient billing, in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support, maintain records, and prepare accurate reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and systems to enhance customer service.
- Contribute positively to team building and culture improvement exercises within Revenue Operations.

**Key Challenges**:

- Maintain composure while responding to calls and reports, ensuring accurate capture and recording of vital information to efficiently resolve problems.
- Develop and uphold knowledge of relevant policies and procedures to support efficient service delivery and record keeping.
- Remain composed under rapidly changing customer expectations in challenging situations.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Commitment to providing high-level customer service, particularly in stressful situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals who have experienced medical emergencies.
- Proficiency in using various computer hardware, software, and electronic systems.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and exercise initiative and discretion.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with call center processes and industry knowledge relevant to handling customer and business enquiries.
