Overview Join to apply for the Principal Planner role at Colliers in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
What is our role As a Principal Planner, you'll take the lead on high-profile urban development projects, working alongside experts in planning, design, economics, and engagement.
You'll manage complex projects, build strong client relationships, and help shape the future of our cities.
Responsibilities Have a strong ability to project manage career-defining appointments while organically growing industry relationships, particularly in CBD planning and planning for medium to high-rise development.
Seasoned in statutory planning with a proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Provide advice directly to a range of clients across both private and government authorities.
Demonstrate competency to project manage other staff including delegating, supervising, and reviewing work and delivering projects within budget and scope.
Qualifications A degree in Planning or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in urban planning.
Mindset that creates high value and solutions-focused thinking.
Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects (a plus).
