Bowral is one of our robust homes with 4 clients in SIL. We support people with complex mental health, psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities and high support needs.

This site requires very pro-active and present experienced support workers (who are available for over night shifts sleepover support and reliable) who have great communication skills and are willing to provide full support personal care. We are also looking for experience with restrictive practices, manual handling and PRN medication.

**Your role**:

- Promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients' day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Follow positive behaviour support and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Person centered active support
- Provide personal care and manual handling with dignity and respect.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what's important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm
- 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am).

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
