Fresh Leaf is a fast growing fresh herb and leafy greens business with many growth opportunities. Established in 2008, we produce more than 200,000 bunches, pots and punnets a week, over 20 different varieties of garnishing produce from our 3 locations across Victoria and Queensland which are available through major retailers, independent supermarkets, green grocers and wholesale distributers. We are focused on evolving the traditional industry of vegetable growing to a new technology driven and sustainable format.

**The Role**:
As part of this growth we have a requirement for a new Logistics Leading hand. The purpose of this position is to be involved in completing and finalising all fresh produce for palletising and dispatch for our customers. The Logisitics Leading hand helps to direct logisitics support team members and coordinates with the Logisitics Manager to ensure stock is prepared and dispatched on time.

It is important to note that as we work in fresh produce, the majority of the role will be working in a cold room environment.

This position is a permanent full time role on a rotating 6-day roster, Monday - Saturday.

**Key Tasks**:
Palletising customer orders in priority order

Complete customer order documentation as required

Receiving in supplier deliveries as required

Assist in the preparation of products (dating finished products etc)

Loading and unloading trucks on a forklift

**Essential requirements**:
Team player with a fantastic work ethic and can-do attitude

Experience working in a fast-paced, logistics or warehouse environment

Ambitious and driven, always looking for ways to improve

Transport to the worksite, as there is no public transport

**Nice to haves**:
Forklift licence (Or progression towards getting it)

MR heavy vehicle licence (desirable but not essential)

Remuneration will be paid under the Horticulture Award, including permanent benefits such as annual leave, sick leave, etc. This will be at level 4, or $22.33 per hour.
