**Casual Event Labourer - team leader - within an awesome team**

Love events, camping, the outdoors, and not being afraid to get hands-on?

We have an opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic team player to help set up and pack down GLAMPING tents at our events on the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.

The event team leader is responsible for working together with management in packing the trailer, directing and helping with assembling and dis-assembling tipis/ canvas tents, driving a manual car + trailer, inspecting equipment for damage, checking equipment against an inventory list, among other duties.

Moreover, all event staff needs to be constantly on their feet and attend to the many needs of set up/pack down, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.

**Event Labourer responsibilities;**
- Unloading equipment and tipis from trucks and setting them up onsite at various locations across the Mornington Peninsula and beyond
- Direct the team onsite
- Adhering to safety standards
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list
- Packing up equipment when the event is completed

**Event Labourer Requirements;**
- Outstanding organizational/communication skills
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Physical stamina and high energy levels
- Be physically fit as this role can be physically demanding and high intensity
- Excellent multitasking ability
- Must be available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday

We value a healthy work-life balance, and therefore try to minimise working weekends. Unfortunately this is not always possible, but 8 our of 10 jobs will be completed before and after the weekend.
- Have Australian work rights
- Hold a valid drivers license (ability to drive manual & tow a trailer highly advantageous)

Paying above award wage; $27 - $45 per hour, depending on experience.

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
