System Analyst

**Your New role**:
We are looking for a skilled System Analyst who will ensure system designs are meeting clients' cyber security requirement. Your duties will include analysing system requirements, addressing any relevant problems, liasing with stakeholders and providing solutions to ensure high level of performance and security.

You should have decent experience with IT systems, and maintain relevant knowledge about industry trends and new solutions.

You will work in a highly skilled team of industry experts and be part of our growing Cyber Security team providing real-time advice and guidance to secure our client's network and systems. You will help our clients:

- review solution architecture and other IT and security artifacts.
- evaluate information systems, network infrastructure, and computer equipment to ensure consistency with business requirements.
- review legacy systems and document interfaces between them and new ones
- Explore and evaluate current systems
- Define system requirements
- Interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs and track additional requirements and features
- Review legacy systems and document interfaces between them and new ones
- identify vulnerabilities and provide technical solution advice to assist in the uplift of systems.
- keep well informed about current technologies and technical developments

- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot/remediate production issues across interrelated systems.

To work with our Australian Federal Government clients, you must be an Australian citizen and either hold or be eligible and willing to obtain security clearance (minimum baseline). Other requirements include:

- 2+ years' experience of working on a IT System Analyst position
- practical understanding of technical concepts and/or experience supporting IT systems.
- excellent knowledge of business information systems
- a strong work ethic, ability to self-manage time to deliver outcomes as part of a dynamic team.
- strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- good communication skills with good ability to explain technical details
- a professional and polite demeanour, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

- familiarity with Information Security and Cyber Frameworks such as the ISM, ISO27001/2 or NIST CSF.
- familiarity in analysing solution patterns, risks and options developed by project teams and technology partners.
- experience with cyber security frameworks and how they relate to ICT projects and design.
- being in Canberra, or the ability to relocate or travel for the role.
