Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from BroadReach GroupJob Description – Enterprise Information Architect RoleWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Information Architect to lead a strategic assessment and uplift of our client's data management environment.
Working closely with two other Enterprise Architects, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation's data strategy and roadmap.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can provide pragmatic, achievable advice and build trust and credibility with stakeholders.Estimated 3 months initial contract, with the potential for additional extensions for implementation up to 12 months.Permanent employment will be considered for the right candidate, with guaranteed ongoing work beyond the initial project phase.On-site is preferred.Experience Proven leader with minimum 8 years' experience in Enterprise Information Architecture.Minimum 5 years' experience in handling large data, data engineering, data science or AI teams.Extensive experience in cloud-based data platforms and solutions, data governance, and AI / GenAI implementation.Passion for ethical AI, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.Certifications in data management, AI, or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are highly regarded.Experience in the government sector is preferred.Experience in Microsoft Databricks or Fabric preferred.Key Responsibilities Our client is looking for a data strategy and roadmap which is clear and pragmatic.Conduct a current state assessment and analyse historical data-related issues, assessing the organisation's data maturity and issues with the current approach to management of data.Identify the future data processes, platforms and systems, and governance required to support improved data management.Identify the gaps between current and future data management requirements.Develop a remediation plan and roadmap.Provide pragmatic and achievable advice for future improvements, and build trust and credibility with the business.Preference is for a consultant to work on-site and engage directly through face-to-face interactions, facilitating workshops and other onsite engagement.Develop a current state assessment of data management.Current state maturity assessment: identify issues with people, processes, and technology used at present.Define future state requirements.Perform gap analysis.Build a phased Data Roadmap.Deliver a high-level Enterprise Data Strategy.Define data governance, roles, processes, capabilities, and future-state data management approach.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionStrategy / Planning and Information TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at BroadReach Group by 2xGet notified about new Enterprise Information Architect jobs in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.Locations: Victoria Park, Perth, Bentley, Western Australia, AustraliaRecent postings: 1 week ago, 3 weeks ago, 15 hours ago, 2 weeks ago, 19 hours ago, etc.We're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
