An exciting opportunity to lead our expanding team of physiotherapists who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in community health. Our team work with a diverse client base including NDIS, DVA, Home Care and Private Clients.
We are a longstanding leading provider of high quality physiotherapy services. Our innovative Group is dedicated to offering benchmark assessments, maintenance therapy and rehabilitation.
Broadly, our group works in aged care facilities and in the community across VIC, NSW, QLD & TAS improving the quality of life for thousands of aged care clients. Our community work includes a NDIS caseload in the community as well as domiciliary treatments in the home and retirement villages. We also provide private practice and sports physiotherapy services to local clubs.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
As Community Services Manger your role will involve:
- Supporting and leading the community services team, facilitating and leading meetings amongst the team and providing 1:1 support
- Identifying learning needs and organising PD / Social Events to promote best practice and team cohesion and morale
- Experience with and knowledge with various funding streams, including NDIS, Home Care Packages, DVA, SWEP, STRC.
- Strong networking skills and experience with business development preferred.
- Maintaining relationships with our existing referral partners and building upon this professional network for create new opportunities.
- Provide Clinical Mentorship / Leadership for the team. Our team are involved in work within NDIS, Home Care Package clients, DVA, Private Clients, Retirement Villages, Hydrotherapy
- Managing your schedule effectively including clinical and non-clinical tasks, including regular meetings with your team members and senior management
- Overseeing timetables / utility rates / optimising efficiency of staff schedules
**Qualifications and Skills**
- A Bachelor of Physiotherapy OR an equivalent internationally (and APA) recognised qualification
- AHPRA Registration
- Clinical skills to perform comprehensive Assessment, Treatment, Risk Assessments and being able teach junior therapists
- Appropriate working visas - no visa restrictions
- A National Police Certificate
- NDIS Check/Working with Children Check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Leadership and Management experience
