A loving family in Killara, NSW are seeking a happy and kind nanny to assist in the care of their energetic and engaging 5 year old daughter.

**The days and normal hours are:

- 4 afternoons - 25.5 hours per week**

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 3pm - 6pm
- With the opportunity for additional hours during school holidays.

An ideal nanny would be calm, patient, and nurturing. Someone who is experienced and firm when required, but also fair.

A nanny who is genuinely interested in engaging in play and fun activities and also encouraging reading and educational conversations to assist growth and development.

A confident driver to carry out school pick-ups and transport to afternoon activities.

Must be cat friendly.***

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the child
- Follow the child's routine
- Play and engage in educational and age appropriate activities
- School pick-ups and transport to after school activity (swimming)
- Take out for walks/to the park, library and activities when required
- Prepare and cook simple family meals, and snacks for the child
- Light household duties ie general tidying up of toys, emptying/loading dishwasher etc

**The family's expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Confident or experienced dealing with allergies (peanut)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- Nonsmoking
- Basic cooking skills
- Full licence and clean driving record and own car preferred
