Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
About the Role
Designing and implementing software solutions using Kotlin on the JVM and TypeScript with React
Developing and maintaining docker containerised apps on AWS, including ECS and EKS Kubernetes
Ensuring product features are being delivered effectively as measured by lead time, deployment frequency, change failure percentage, mean time to resolution, and number of bugs in production
Experience implementing and using event-driven architectures
Cloud development (AWS)
Containerisation (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
Strong fundamental knowledge of OO and Functional programming paradigms
Key Responsibilities
Robust coding practices, including writing clean, well-structured code, automated tests, and managing source control
Ability to develop technical solutions and communicate them effectively
Empathy and willingness to coach and mentor team members
