What you can expect in a day in the role:Working with some of the best Arabian horses in the country, you will play an integral part of the stables team.
Daily tasks could look like, but not be limited to:Responsible for maintaining clean stables through daily mucking out, and providing general care for the horses, including feeding, grooming, water supply, etcAssist with equipment management and cleanlinessPrepare horses for groups and trail ridesAccompany guests and customers on tours and in lessons whilst on horsebackEngage with community groups, including children and adults with disabilities and disadvantaged youthWhat you'll bring to the role:Joining our Stables team means no two days will be the same

As a Stable Attendant, you'll bring experience and knowledge, while also showing a willingness to learn and adapt to our unique style and team.
We are looking for:Extensive knowledge in general horse care, including grooming, general health and wellbeing, handling, etcExtensive experience and knowledge in handling horses safely and confidently on the ground, including in large herd settingsConfident and knowledgeable about riding a range of horses, including Arabians and Warmbloods and being able to adapt to our riding styleUnderstanding of loading and unloading horse transport and equipmentKnowledge of equipment maintenance to a high standard, along with cleanlinessHigh standards of stable presentation and cleanlinessStrong assurance and knowledge of safety for guests, with a passion for providing excellent customer service and experienceEffective communication and teamwork skills with a strong desire to learnAbility to work shifts across a 7-day week roster, especially weekends, and willing to be flexible on start and end times for business requirementsFull Driver's License (or provisional), a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or able to obtain)Ability to assist others on horses whilst riding is highly regardedAn appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.What you can expect from us:Country Club Is a part of Federal Group (including Wrest Point, Safire, and Macq01) and offers:Staff discounts across Federal Hospitality propertiesAccess to hundreds of discounts across many brands, helping you save on everyday expenses, including phone bills, fuel and groceries, fashion, restaurants, and entertainmentFree Parking onsite and fully laundered and tailored staff uniformFree Meal on every shiftSupportive work environment with learning and development opportunitiesInterested?
