**The Company**:
Oriental Merchant is a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian food products with brands that are familiar throughout Asia Pacific. Our brand has a strong national and global presence, and we have a passion for bringing Asian foods to the Western Market. We have over 30 years of experience and a large customer base supplying both major Mainstream and Independent supermarkets.

**Job description**:
To keep up with the demand and our expanding business we are looking for a Brand Representative to join our growing team This is a mobile role - a company car is provided to travel to all required customer locations

**Your tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Frequently visit our customers, restaurants and stores to uphold business relationships
- Place orders with retailers as required to optimise stock levels
- Distribution of product samples
- Conduct and execute sales activities and campaigns
- Inspect the quality and appearance of stock to ensure saleability
- Check store range compliance against applicable layout profiles, build layouts
- Maintain store shelves with company products, remove out-of-date products
- Provide optimum display of company products
- Complete merchandising reports, including Point of Sale Materials, status, report on competitor activities, pricing, product range, promotional activities, displays and conducting audits
- Assist Sales Reps and shops with promotions by setting up regular small to large-scale product displays, provide feedback to sales reps and team leaders on customer reaction to Brand displays and promotions Liaising with Brand promotors regarding events

**To be successful you will need**:

- ** Full Australian working rights**:

- Excellent verbal communication skills in **English, preferably in Chinese**:

- Ability to multi-task and ability to prioritise
- Attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Current Australian driver's Licence
