Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) Pty Ltd is actively looking for an applicant for our 1st Year Apprentice Metal Fabricator vacancy.

Work in our brand new state of the art facility in Dandenong South with a highly skilled team of tradespeople who will become your mentors.

**As an apprentice with TMHA, you will receive**:

**Working with your mentors and other TMHA employees, your apprenticeship will include some of the following duties**:

- Interpret technical drawings
- Complete structural wedling to standards
- Use basic power tools and hand tools
- Perform welding and thermal cutting
- Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
- Adding finishing touches to products in the form of cleaning, polishing, filing, and adding protective or decorative finishes.
- Any other related tasks as directed by the host employer

**Who you are**:

- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Have strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates maturity, respect and is punctual and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions and learn from your mentors.
- Committed to successfully completing a **Certificate 3 in Engineering-Fabrication** and becoming a skilled trades-person.
