**The Opportunity**

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a **Machine Operator **to join the **day **shift team **based in **Eagle Farm**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

This opportunity will see you operate processing machinery such as a slitter, plasma or shearline, to prepare orders for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Machine Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

We have opportunities for day shift (flexibility within the hours of 6:00AM and 6:00PM) working Monday-Friday.

You will receive a competitive hourly wage and be eligible for our annual profit share (bonus).

**What Will You Do?**

As a valued member of our Eagle Farm team, you will:

- operate processing machinery to prepare orders for our customers
- operate magnet cranes
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment

**More About You**

We are on the lookout for dedicated team players who have:

- experience operating CNC, plasma or other plate cutting or fabrication machinery within a processing environment
- strong communication, problem solving and self-management skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- high commitment to safety
