What Your Day Will Look Like
You'll be at the heart of patient care in our Critical Care Ward, managing complex cases and leading life-saving interventions with confidence and compassion.
Alongside providing specialist clinical care, you'll guide and mentor registrars and residents, ensuring the team thrives and patients receive the highest standard of treatment.
Your role extends beyond the bedside—you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across units, contribute to clinical governance and service improvements, and play a key role in fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and learning.
With the opportunity to engage in teaching and research through the University of Queensland, your day will be both clinically challenging and intellectually rewarding.
Salary and Benefits
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.
Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
