We're seeking the best and brightest to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals.Your RoleAs a Drainage Maintenance Worker, you'll provide support with the cleaning and maintenance of drainage systems throughout a capital city; operating a combination eductor and jetting truck with a fellow operator on gullies, manholes and gross pollutant traps; periodic maintenance of roads and footpaths; as well as provision of a high quality of customer service to internal and external customers.
Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance, you'll be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice on areas of expertise to staff, clients, suppliers and the public and liaise with line management as required;Coordinate, set priorities and lead work groups;Install new drainage assets including manhole covers and gully grates with minimal supervision; andEnsure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Western Australian Work Health and Safety legislation as well as the City's safe systems of work.Who We're Looking ForA team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
