At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance, and more.The Y Queensland's childcare services have been at the heart of Australian communities for over 40 years, beginning with our first early learning service in Brisbane in 1977, focusing on helping children grow in body, mind, and spirit.We are currently recruiting casual OSHC Educators to join our YMCA Helensvale Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.About the serviceYMCA Helensvale Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located at Helensvale State Primary School.Our service offers a wide range of fun, stimulating, and appropriate programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings, encouraging community, leadership, and social skills development in a caring environment.Our philosophy emphasizes community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous, multi-age play during middle childhood.
We welcome educators with diverse skills to share and enrich our programs.About the roleAs an OSHC Educator, you will care for children before and after school, and during school holidays, facilitating engaging activities such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting, and musical activities.What will my time look like?
