**About the Centre/Service**

CDPS is a community-run, not-for-profit Kindergarten. We provide ACECQA Exceeding Rated 3 and 4 year old sessional Kindergarten programs. Located on the edge of community parklands, we provide a unique and longstanding service within the Surrey Hills community. At CDPS we are committed to: Collaboration and building positive relationships with children, their families and the wider community; Promoting equity and respect for each child's individuality autonomy and independence and interdependence; Encouraging and inspiring children's thinking and individual skills; Providing a child safe environment where children are safe and feel safe and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives; Promoting and protecting the cultural safety and the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, children with a disabilities/directed needs and children experiencing vulnerability. Our 4YO Program is a rotational and made up of 3 rotational groups where each group attends two days of 7.5 hours of Kindergarten per week.

**Description**

CDPS is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher to join our inclusive and supportive team and community. This is a fixed-term, part-time role commencing in January 2025 and concluding in December 2025 with opportunity to continue in 2026 and beyond. You will work in a team with long standing and experienced 3 Year Old Teacher and caring educators who are passionate about creating a warm and enriching program.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA recognised equivalent Current child protection training
