The successful candidates will be offered Casual employment.As a phlebotomist within our organization, your primary responsibilities will involve serving the Mater Hospital South Brisbane campus.
To ensure comprehensive coverage, these roles will require availability across a 24/7 rotating roster.
Therefore, full flexibility to work within this roster is a mandatory requirement for this position.As a Mater Pathology Phlebotomist you will be providing a high level of customer service and care to patients through phlebotomy, specimen collection, specimen management and administration duties.
The management of specimens in the pre-analytical stage ensures the delivery of quality samples for testing that leads to timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
In addition, you will also be trained in Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation.ResponsibilitiesCollection of blood samples from adults, children, and infants.
