CrewSELECT have an exciting permanent fulltime opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper.

**Responsibilities**:

- BAS - Quarterly.
- PAYG - Monthly.
- Superannuation lodgement - quarterly.
- Payroll for 33 directly employed, timesheets get submitted currently to do this and approximately 15 labour hire - weekly.
- Long Service Leave - quarterly.
- End of Month (aged payables, reconcile supplier accounts) - Accounts payable.
- Debtors (aged receivables, debt collecting, statements to clients) - Accounts receivable.
- End of week payments - Accounts payable.
- Reimbursements for staff - weekly - Accounts payable.
- Supplier invoice entry.
- Colate for end of financial year for accountant to process - annual.
- Payroll EOFY closing off - annual.
- Payroll Tax which is quarterly.
- Training incentives.
- General dealings with the ATO.
- Assist staff where needed.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Retentions.

**About you**:

- 3+ years experience in a similar role - preferably in the electrical or blue collar industry.
- Industry certification preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices.
- **Proficiency in Xero, Simpro and MS Excel.**:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
