**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be part of a broader QA team, reporting to the National Technical and Safety Manager, and assist to oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of procedures essential for the efficient functioning of a quality and safety program, aligning with pertinent federal/state regulations and customer specifications.
- Vigilantly monitor quality assurance protocols for raw materials and packaging, adhering to DAFF, AUS MEAT, and customer standards.
- Ensure meticulous documentation compliance with DAFF and customer requisites.
- Spearhead the development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate QA policies and processes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrate hands-on leadership and champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in leading QA and/or safety systems.
- Formal qualification (Degree/Master's) in Food Science/Technology is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently in a faced paced environment.
- Proficiency in HACCP, SQF, BRC, WQA, and Coles QA standards.
- Preferred experience in the meat industry, though not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for drafting professional QA and safety documents.
- A collaborative mindset, fostering teamwork and synergy.
- Strong organisational acumen, ensuring seamless operations and compliance.
