**About the Role**

We are searching for a part time Lifestyle Assistant to assist with the delivery of activities that enhance the psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being of residents. You will be joining a friendly team that are supported by passionate and caring leaders who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

In this role you will:

- Assist with development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities;
- Support residents to participate in activities;
- Attend to the personal care needs of residents as required;
- Assist with regular review and improvement of activities;
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities including evaluation of individual resident programs and plans.

**About You**

You are a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on innovation when it comes to enriching the lives of the elderly. Whether it be a concert at the facility or a day out on the bus, your main goals are to motivate, inspire and involve the residents. You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. You have a fun-loving nature along with compassion and understanding of individual needs.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging)
- First Aid certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate;
- Good communication skills with the elderly and team members;
- Similar work experience in an aged care setting;
- National Police Check, or the willingness to obtain one.

- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
