**Your new role**

As a Case Manager you will have the opportunity to do your best work as you take on responsibilities for the end-to-end management of claims under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme. You will assist injured workers with their injury management and return to work plans whilst maintaining relationships built on trust with all stakeholders involved.

The role of a Case Manager will see you"return people to health and work with empathy, expertise and act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including injured workers, their employers, doctors, and other medical professionals."

Your role will include:

- Effectively set expectations, communicate and educate injured workers and their employers"
- Work in partnership with the injured worker and their employer to manage their journey in returning to work
- Ensure timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to in line with legislation and company policy"
- Meet and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practice outcomes

The first four weeks of our New Starter Program are focused on establishing a solid foundation for success, so during these four weeks you'll need to attend the office regularly. After this, you'll work in a hybrid way with three days working from home and two days in the office, giving you just the right balance to further embed your learning and continue building connections.

You will also have:

- Professional experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Previous experience in workers compensation highly advantageous
- A high degree of influencing skills, partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills"
- A resilient approach to your work, maintaining a positive and optimistic response to all challenges
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- A flexible and service-orientated approach

This begins from the very first day of your employment, providing you the support you need to grow your expertise and progress your career over four proficiency levels from Foundational to Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.
