**Our Family**:

- Our family consists of a delightful 3-year-old boy (turning 4 in April), and two working parents - mom transitioning back to work and dad running his own business with full-time hours. He is a 'boys boy', is vibrant, passionate and vivacious, but is also the quiet, curious, focused and caring - any other kids upset at playground, he first to go and check they are okay and says hello to trusted people by giving hugs He's deeply curious and loves learning, currently fascinated by: Space and astronomy (knows all his planets) Vehicles (especially race cars, monster trucks, and trains) Physical activities (cycling, climbing, tennis, and soccer) Early academics (reading, spelling, counting, and telling time) Animals (particularly elephants and whales) Cooking and trying new foods

**Your Duties**:

- Some light duties like: Preparing and serving dinner for him General toy tidy ups Bathing/nappies/toilet training Unload dishwasher/fill dishwasher Hangout his laundry/put into dryer/put away Sweeping/Vacuum after meals

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We have had some brilliant nannies/babysitters over the years (for shorter term needs) - we found the best fit is someone confident and experienced, can be calm, engaging but fun with a sense of humor - that is usually the best way to get him to get on board We have always encouraged care givers to focus on their own skills, experience and enjoyment - we had an English literature student babysit who focused on reading with him, a part-time chef who focused on baking with him etc. We have a few needs so we may leverage a few caregivers to fulfill our needs, as our needs grow when I return to work. First is an immediate need for a babysitter type arrangement (occasional care) based on persons availability. Also we will be seeking care after kindy (2/3pm-6pm) a few times per week (M/W/F), and then possibly some full days - once I return to work. We are realistic and would work as best we can to an individuals availability - the most important thing for us is the right person/s for Charlie and us. We are fortunate to live within a 2-5 minute walk to a playground/park, and IGA, cafes and his kindergarten. We are looking to enroll in some activities which again would be within walking distance - so a car isn't necessary but if you did drive and want to do local outings we would buy and install a car seat based on needs.
