**About the Role**
We are on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Head Barista to lead our coffee program at Miller + Baker. As our Head Barista, you will be the face of our coffee offering, bringing your expertise and passion for specialty coffee to elevate our customers' experience. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, training and mentoring junior baristas, and maintaining our coffee equipment to ensure every cup meets our high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the coffee bar, ensuring exceptional service and product quality.
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso and filter coffee beverages, showcasing your skills and creativity.
- Train, mentor, and support barista staff to develop their skills and maintain consistency.
- Manage coffee inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
- Maintain and clean coffee equipment, troubleshooting any issues to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with the team to ensure a seamless customer experience, from coffee to bakery.
- Experiment with and introduce new coffee offerings, such as seasonal blends and specialty drinks.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

**About You**
- Proven experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in a specialty coffee environment.
- Passionate about coffee with extensive knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, and alternative brewing methods.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency in every cup.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Familiarity with coffee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- An interest in sustainability and supporting local producers aligns with our bakery's values.
