Through our NDIS, Aged Care, and Family Services, our mission is simple yet powerful: to create opportunities for all to flourish.We are currently seeking Lifestyle Support Workers to work across the Clarence Valley and Coffs Harbour region who are energetic, reliable and compassionate individuals who want to make a positive contribution to the lives of others.About the RoleAs a Lifestyle Support Worker with Livable, you will assist people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals and aspirations through:Community participationPositive behaviour supportHousehold tasks and personal careAbout YouYou are a compassionate, self-motivated professional who thrives on helping others succeed.
You will also bring:An energetic, can-do attitude, compassion, and reliabilityHave completed, or willing to complete prior to commencing: NDIS mandatory worker orientation moduleNDIS worker screening checkFirst Aid/CPR certificateWorking with Children and Police ChecksCertificate III in Individual Support/equivalent or are currently enrolled and studying thisAbility to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and public holidaysAn ability and willingness to support others with personal care and light domestic duties as part of your roleA capacity to perform any manual handling requirements of the roleHold a current driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle (if required) with comprehensive insuranceGood communication, interpersonal and basic technology skills (mobile phone app use)Most importantly, you will view this as a career, not just a job, and bring a genuine willingness to work collaboratively with individual participants, their support networks, and Livable to achieve meaningful outcomesWhat we offerSupporting people living with disabilities and their families is important work, and we want to ensure your contribution is recognised.
