Clinical Lead for Mental Health Services
This is a pivotal role that will drive clinical excellence, innovation, and positive patient outcomes in the Older Persons Mental Health Unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional clinical services and champion practice improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to advance clinical competence within mental health nursing practice
Promote evidence-based nursing and contemporary practices
Role model and influence high standards of clinical practice among staff
Design and deliver training programs to support professional development
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA
Postgraduate qualifications in mental health or leadership
Proven experience in clinical leadership and management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
