Right across the state, we are committed to exceptional care, accommodation, and support services for older Western Australians.The Role:As a Multiskilled Domestic, you will ensure that all areas of the site are kept hygienic and presentable, contributing to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
In this role you will provide person-centered care and communicate with residents in a manner that enhances their quality of life, ensuring that they feel welcome and respected at all times.
It will be important that you embrace Juniper's core values and follow our policies and procedures.The successful candidate will be offered a casual, part-time or full-time role at our Juniper Guwardi Ngadu facility in Fitzroy Crossing.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present breakfast, serve lunch and dinnerProvide kitchen hand services including food preparation, texture modification, and accurate apportioningMaintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipmentPerform cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areasHandle residents' laundry, ensuring proper washing and return of clothingManage bed linen, ensuring it is laundered and labeled correctlyKey Requirements:Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proceduresUnderstanding of infection controlExperience in domestic cleaning in an aged care settingStrong communication and organizational skillsWhy Join Us:Access to salary sacrifice options up to $18,550 per annum.Access to subsidized accommodation and Kimberley relocation allowance.Health insurance discounts with HBF or Medibank.Juniperks: an online platform for peer recognition, wellness, retail discounts.Non-profit values driven Western Australian aged care provider.How to Apply:If you are passionate about delivering person-centered care and have the skills and experience required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
