OverviewAssistant Retail Manager (2IC) | Robina at Petstock GroupWe are on the lookout for a passionate, friendly, and strong leader to support the team in providing world class professional advice and customer service that we are known for.ResponsibilitiesLead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team dailySupport the Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skillsLead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experienceEnsure the safety of the store, team members and customers by maintaining a safe work environmentSupport Store Manager in stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurateAssist in managing visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays, ensuring VM standards are keptKeep knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provideRecruit, onboard, and induct high calibre new team membersContribute to a fun, supportive culture in-store where the team enjoys coming to workPro-actively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorshipsWhat We NeedExperience in a similar store leadership role or readiness to take the next step in retail managementDemonstrated success in driving salesStrong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high performing team and positive cultureResilience and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting prioritiesAbility to create a positive safety cultureDemonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targetsEstablished business acumenFlexibility to meet changing work conditionsHigh degree of interpersonal and communication skillsOur recruitment processIntroductory phone screenFace-to-face interview to learn more about the business and the role and meet your potential managerPre-employment checks including references and police checksOur diversity makes us better.
