**Your New Role**

The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all aquatic facility users by maintaining vigilant supervision, preventing incidents, and responding swiftly and effectively to emergencies. This role also supports the delivery of a positive customer experience through professional conduct, clear communication, and the promotion of safe aquatic practices. **About You**
- Hold a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Hold a Pool Plant Operators Certificate and a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate is highly desirable but not essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated capacity to remain composed and make clear decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Demonstrated ability to maintain focused during shifts and detect early signs of distress or rule violations.

**Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
