**About the ROLE**
As a Design Manager at UNITA, you will report into the Head of Pre-Construction and join a high caliber of employees in our Project Delivery Team.

You will be in charge of delivering a number of projects within specified timeframes and budgetary amounts, whilst ensuring they are delivered to a high level of quality and service excellence.

This role is based in our Queensland office, in the heart of Fortitude Valley, close to public transport

**What YOU will be doing**
- Review all project documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure execution of all subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Manage project buy out and formalizing subcontractors.
- Develop preconstruction schedules and monitor all progress.
- Manage all billing and cost procedures during the preconstruction process.
- Present job costs, scheduling updates, and budget updates throughout regular intervals.

**What YOU will bring to the role**
- Construction or building related degree, diploma, or trade background
- Minimum of 5 years fit-out experience within Retail, Hospitality, Health or Commercial sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, as well as any other industry building software platforms.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
