You won't just write code—you'll help define how we build things, mentor a team of engineers, and shape the future of advanced manufacturing.
You'll be part of a small team at the forefront of a global industry.
Using robotics, mechatronics, and our proprietary software to create large-scale, automated 3D metal printing solutions.
You'll be a key player in a collaborative, cross-functional team, working closely with robotics and mechatronics engineers to build software that seamlessly integrates with hardware systems, enabling an end-to-end automated Wire Additive Manufacturing process.
What you'll do
Lead the design and development of innovative software solutions in Rust, C++ and related technologies.
Collaborate with robotics and mechatronics experts to optimise automated manufacturing.
Build reusable libraries, APIs, and scalable platforms.
Drive best practice in Agile, DevOps, testing and automation.
Mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and contribute to product roadmaps.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a technical leader delivering complex software solutions.
Deep knowledge of Rust and/or C++; experience with CGAL, other 3D or path planning concepts, Qt, and UI frameworks is a plus.
Strong background in Agile, TDD/automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps culture.
Adaptive mindset with a can-do attitude and passion for exploring AI tooling.
Collaborative engineer who thrives in a small, fast-moving team.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Location
Adelaide preferred (hybrid model).
Open to strong interstate candidates.
