**Role Description/Criteria**

**Physical Education Teacher Position**

Applications are invited from suitably persons for the position of Physical Education Teacher to commence on Tuesday January 28 2025. There is the possibility for this role to be 0.8 FTE (4 days).

The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, life-long learning, gospel values and teachings. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

**Special Requirements**
- hold current VIT registration
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or display a willingness to undertake this qualification
- proof of personal identity and any professional or other qualifications

The successful applicant will;
- be familiar with and comply with the school's Child-safe Policy and Code of Conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety
- possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience in the area of Physical Education and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to learning and teaching
- demonstrate an ability to collaborate and actively contribute in a team-focused environment with a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning
- demonstrate the ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum in the area of Physical Education to students with diverse educational, social, and emotional needs and abilities
- respect the ethos of the school and its environment
- demonstrate a passion for Physical Education with a focus on improvement of self and others.
