Property Risk Management Lead
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned technical leader to oversee and mentor a team of risk engineers, working closely with underwriters to deliver industry-leading risk management services.
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of risk management, loss prevention, and business continuity planning, as well as insurance processes such as underwriting, pricing, and claims.
You will lead a team of Risk Engineers to provide top-notch risk assessments and advice to underwriters and best practice customer risk and mitigation solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver property risk management services to support underwriting processes, collaborating with Product, Distribution, and broker partners to align QBE's risk engineering with business and customer needs.
Contribute to developing and executing functional strategy, business plans, and objectives that align with divisional goals.
Embed industry-leading property risk management services to establish QBE's unique value proposition within agreed service levels.
Research and implement innovative technological solutions to enhance property risk management offerings.
Requirements:
Proven professional experience providing insurance property risk management services.
Demonstrated experience in property risk management, including advising on loss prevention and risk improvement strategies.
Proven technical leadership experience in managing risk management services.
Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to ensure optimal performance and engagement.
