Located between Brisbane and Ipswich, WoodLinks State School is a school that is growing steadlily, with 850 students currently enrolled. We are a community of First Nations people and folks from 43 different countries. We work together to help each other to redefine our best.

This is underpinned by our moral imperative of "Learning Today: Achieving Tmorrow", where we ensure that students experoence more than a year's worth of growth every year.Our teachers are engaging with Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum in English and work closely in teams to support our students and each other. We provide combined Non-Contact Time in blocks to allow teaching teams to work together, be it for planning, moderation of student work or for working on individual tasks.Shared dialogic is the approach that we use for the teaching of reading in the middle/ upper school and our teacher use the Gradual Release of Responsibility model to enable student learning.We provide ongoing professional development and training to enable our staff memebrs to hone thier skills and enable the wellbing of our people through the work of a group that organises events, shares ideas with staff memebrs and coordinates programs through the year.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
