Our client requires a Street Sweeper Operator to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide street sweeping services as scheduled.
- Correctly use and maintain plant and equipment provided, including all personal protective equipment, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, council's safety policy and procedures.
- Undertake relevant maintenance of vehicle to ensure vehicle utilisation is optimised.
- Undertake daily checks of the plant each day before commencing operation and report all defects to the fleet workshop through the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Current MR class driver's licence.
- Construction Induction Card competency that has been used within the past 2 years.
- Current Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of commencement.

You will be working 5 days a week Monday - Friday. The hours per week are 38 hours and some of the skills that are essential:

- Ability to safety undertake general labouring duties.
- ACDC Certification (desirable)
- Experience operating/maintaining road or footpath sweeper.
