Tradewind is partnering with a co-educational Independent Christian school in greater Western Sydney to welcome a dedicated English teacher to their team.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in term 4, 2025 or term 1, 2026. The role involves teaching English from years 7-12. The ability to teach extension English is desirable but not essential. Graduates are very welcome to apply.
About the Role
As a valued member of this supportive school community, you will:
Teach English across various year levels.
Create inclusive strategies to engage diverse learners in a dynamic classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.
Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Maintain effective organisation and meet administrative and assessment responsibilities.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications
: NESA accredited to teach English.
Experience
: Proven ability to cater for diverse learning needs.
Skills
: Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
Prerequisites
:
Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NESA.
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Two referees with educational backgrounds.
