Responsibilities
Assisting with diagnostic procedures
Pre-operative processes
Assist with setting up of theatre
Provision of surgical assistance
Assist with anaesthesia & analgesia
Manage and maintain central sterile supply
Assist with monitoring procedures
Assist with the management of post-operative care
Assist with administration and maintenance tasks
Qualifications
This role would be ideal for a qualified veterinary nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in general practice, experience within Specialty or ECC is not required but would be advantageous.
Certificate IV in nursing (or equivalent qualification) is a prerequisite.
We are looking for a team member who is highly motivated, can focus well, has good client and staff relationship skills, works well in a highly skilled team, has experience in monitoring anaesthetics and thrives in a busy work environment and lastly enjoys a laugh
