Downer Professional Services is Defence's strategic workforce partner within the Joint Systems Division. As part of this win, Team Downer MSP now supports two critical system program offices within the JC4S Branch:
Integrated Command, Control and Communications Systems Program Office (IC3 SPO)
and
Integrated Warfighting Networks Systems Program Office (IWN SPO)
. These SPOs deliver secure, integrated communications and enable seamless coordination across the
Australian Defence Force
.
We are seeking a permanent
Cost Modeller
based in Canberra to support this Integrated Work Package.
What You'll Do
Deliver cost performance analysis, program management reporting and evaluation of baselines
Development of lifecycle project cost estimation
Conduct financial analysis and cost analysis in support of project execution planning
Compilation of comprehensive basis of estimate documentation and cost proposals for internal and external reviews
Developing financial plans, policies, processes for budgeting and accurate cost models
What You'll Bring
Strong cost analysis and modelling experience in a Defence environment
Experience in estimation of project costs, including developing cost models, submissions, evaluations and tenders
Experience in managing tender processes and major acquisition projects
Bachelors or qualification in accounting or financial management field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum
Negative Vetting 1
or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
