About the role: The Financial Institutions (FI) business plays a central role in achieving MUFG's growth aspirations, including driving material revenue and profitability growth through selective origination and execution of Fund Finance, Securitisation and Diversified NBFI transactions.
The continued growth of the FI sector combined with complex stakeholder management working across product teams and multiple credit divisions highlights the importance of a FI Portfolio team with sufficient bench strength and technical experience.The Vice President role in the team is focused on maintaining the high-quality portfolio management of the book, in addition to leading refinancing and complex activity alongside the Coverage team.
This role supports FI's objective of
(a) ensuring high quality analysis and monitoring of credits continue post origination; with
(b) Borrowers' financial performance, outlook and credit profile assessed and monitored accurately, consistently and in a timely manner – to help identify emerging risks, themes and opportunities which may warrant additional attention/action by key stakeholders – ultimately to drive better risk and return outcomes for the
