About the Role: We have an exciting opening for a Machine Operator in our Rubber Department located at our Augusta location.

Responsibilities
Introduce charges of metal into the furnace using mechanical charge conveyor
Charge furnaces in proper rotation.
Set and adjust temperature settings based on the jobs being run.
Add phos-copper to furnace as prescribed.
Launder metal to pouring furnace to maintain proper metal levels
Log furnace charge data as required
Monitor furnace control panel readings to ensure prescribed procedures are followed.
Assist in the repairing and rebuilding of furnaces and performing routine repairs on own.
Pull furnace samples for lab and pour wedge molds as scheduled.
Other duties and responsibilities as required.
