The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, tool development, and knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to bridge art and engineering, turning artistic vision into final products. You will work closely with engineers and artists to meet look-and-feel and performance requirements, create software systems, art assets, game engine assets, shaders, and real-time visual effects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create and implement software systems, art assets, game engine assets, shaders, and real-time visual effects.
Collaborate with engineers and artists to meet look-and-feel and performance requirements.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to the art pipeline.
Provide artists with technical feedback to ensure optimized assets.
Document and evangelise best practices.
Create or suggest tools and scripts to optimise Unity workflow.
Profile and debug game performance to identify optimisation opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years Game Development Studio experience.
Familiar with versioning software (Perforce preferred, CVS, Alien Brain or similar).
Experience creating motion graphics or animations (must have samples).
Experience working under tight deadlines.
Experience working with game engines.
