Rozelle, NSW, AU, 2039**About the Project**:
The project scope includes the following:

- An underground interchange at Rozelle connecting the M4 East, the M8, Sydney Airport with the inner west and North Sydney through the Western Harbour Tunnel.
- Tunnel operation and support systems
- Provision of up to ten hectares of new public open space located at the site of the dis-used Rozelle Rail Yards.

**The Role**:
We are seeking Sustainability Advisor to join our site team based in Sydney. The Project has achieved a Rozelle Interchange Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) design rating of 89, the highest of all the WestConnex packages. In this role you will;
- Seek to surpass this IS rating for our Rozelle Interchange IS as built rating and Western Harbour Tunnel Sothern Works design and as built ratings,
- You will ensure the Project delivers NSW's leading operational water reuse infrastructure,
- Continue to decarbonise our operations,
- Contribute to development of Australia's lowest carbon concrete, transforming the industry, and,
- Further develop our role in the circular economy.

**Responsibilities**:
The role will incorporate a variety of responsibilities, including:

- Implement the Project Sustainability Strategy,
- Drive innovation, decarbonisation and resource efficiency,
- Continue to foster Project values of Care, Innovate and Deliver,
- Oversee sustainability performance and communicate this to Transport for NSW and industry stakeholders through monitoring and reporting,
- Support the development of a Sustainability Graduate reporting to you
- Identify risks and opportunities to the Project and Sustainability Strategy and work with the Environment, Sustainability & Approvals Manager to mitigate or realise these.

Establishment of strong working relationships with the project team, client, and stakeholders

**About you**:
To be considered you will have:

- Ideally 4+ years' experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental engineering, Science, Sustainability, or other associated discipline
- Sound knowledge of Infrastructure Sustainability Council rating scheme or other rating systems such as NABERS or Green Star
- Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
