Little VIP's Child Care & Early Education Centre is currently looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator to join us (Diploma in Children's Services/Early Childhood Education & Care or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA)

Our team of educators have very diverse backgrounds, knowledge and skills. Everybody has the opportunity to form relationships with all children, staff and families across the centre, not just in their own room.

Our team is fun loving, long term, interactive and really a little family. We offer lots of different team building opportunities throughout the year, as well as Christmas Parties for staff and children at the end of the year

We like to dress up, decorate and have fun with the children & families.
- A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain is required.
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training is desired but not essentially required.
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team is required.
- Experience running room as the lead educator would be beneficial
- Lots of ideas and an ongoing desire to provide a developmentally appropriate and fun program for the children required
- We have an abundance of resources to support you in your role with the option to purchase resources as needed

A _**minimum of 25 hours**_ will be made available per week for suitable applicants, based on current occupancy and business direction your hours will not exceed 38 per week.

**In this role you will**:

- Actively supervise and interact with children in your care
- Support children's learning through investigation and projects
- Monitor children's health, nutrition and hygiene while providing emotional support and guidance
- Closely working with the team to observe and document children's developmental progress against learning outcomes
- Ensuring a safe environment is maintained
- Being open to working in any room where your support is needed
- Cleaning duties as required
- Changing nappies
- Develop strong relationships with children, your team, families

**What you will bring**:

- Diploma of Early Education and Care
- Current and valid Working with Children Check
- Experience working in a similar role
- Warm, Empathetic and bubbly personality
- Willingness to work as a team
- Willingness to work with children of all age groups in the centre

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
