As a Geotechnical Engineer, you'll play a key role in guiding project direction through detailed ground investigations, analysis, and design for infrastructure and building projects.
Join our expert team to help shape sustainable, technically-sound solutions for complex geotechnical challenges across Australia.The Opportunity Plan and manage site investigations, laboratory testing, and associated health and safety requirements Conduct geotechnical analysis and design (e.g. foundations, retention systems, earthworks, seismic assessments) for buildings and infrastructure projects Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose geotechnical solutions Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and client relationship buildingAt Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive.

A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering) and eligibility for chartership 3-4 years experience in geotechnical design and construction, with sound knowledge of the Sydney ground conditions Proven ability to deliver geotechnical solutions using industry-standard software and engineering judgement Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills Motivation to lead, support others, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWhat We Offer YouAt Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.Guided by our values, we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success.
