The foundation of the role is to lead and Art Direct world-class, captivating campaigns for brands within music culture, with the ability to ideate, rationalise and execute work from end-to-end.As Senior Art Director you will have a thirst for the fundamentals of groundbreaking design, and how great creative ideas can come to life both in the real world and through communications.
You understand user experience and are a master of bringing to life ideas in a visual way for brands.

Skills And ExperienceCreativeA design-led creative thinker who can bring to life their ideas with expert flairA strategically minded creative who can leverage cultural insights, data and strategy to inform ideationAbility to ideate as both an individual and in a team environment to create culturally relevant, head-turning and award-winning creative workEffective mastery of leading a creative campaign from concept through to delivery.
Including all touchpoints of a campaign lifecycle including strategy, art-direction, design, experience and executionAbility to take ideas from 'page to screen' – to effectively drive art-based creative solutions for our brandsAbility to design eye-catching creative presentations that excite and convert brand partnersUnderstand how users interact and engage with experiences (both digital and real-world) to drive fans through the 'purchase funnel' through design-driven executionsAn AWARD School or D&AD alumni would be well receivedTechnical & StrategyAn expert eye for great design, working across the entirety of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and more) with advanced design-centric skills to take work from conception through to deliveryCreation and design of pitch presentations via Keynote, Canva (or similar) to a high standard, to tell an expertly crafted, concise and rich visual narrative around creative conceptsA high-level understanding of the fundamentals of great design including knowledge of compelling layouts, typography & photo manipulation to create communications that stand-out.
Skills as an illustrator are a bonusAccelerated ability to articulate a design-led solution for a client – including mock-ups, sketches and moodboards to an expert levelAbility to edit audio-visual work when required – formulating final outputs for brand campaignsWorking alongside external production partners in both visual mediums and experiential formats to get the best out of them, to direct them effectively and communicate your creative intent to get the best results possible for clientsBasic Copywriting skills to articulate ideas to presentation standard as well as basic ability to write with flair in brand campaignsWorking with industry leading data and insights teams to drive all of your creative strategies and concepts.About you:Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or similar (University, TAFE, Design School etc)A highly skilled and confident communicator & presenter with the ability to draw an audience in, tailor a narrative to its intended audience and ultimately get innovative and exciting creative work soldAdaptable to different tasks, with a thirst to learn skills outside of your traditional to support a small and dynamic team when requiredBuilding relationships with external production partners and freelance creatives to ensure high quality on all campaignsA love of music and working with diverse artists that drive culture forwardWorking collaboratively as part of a high-performance agency team, with the ability to adapt at speed whilst still delivering great workGrowing and maintaining strong relationships with people in every facet of the Australian and global music industry – labels, music insights teams, artists, managers, booking agents, streaming partners and beyondAbout us:Career opportunities – fantastic opportunity to elevate your career in a supportive, motivated and ambitious teamThe opportunity to join the WORLDS leading music companyAll the perks of working within the music industry (did someone say live music?)X 2 'U-Days' per calendar year to spend however you like
