Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), operating, maintaining, and transforming part of Victoria's rail network are seeking a People Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis to support our Projects division.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Head of People - Projects, the People Coordinator will be responsible for supporting HR cyclical activities across four main portfolios (Franchise, Metro Tunnel, Melbourne Airport and Level Crossing Projects). The role works collaboratively with all People team members and a wide range of stakeholders across the Division to support people initiatives and provide meaningful people reports and analytics.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Support and coordinate the management of Divisional cyclical HR activities such as the talent management process, capability development planning, mid-year reviews and end of year performance review process and reporting
- Support the coordination of the agreed People plan for the Projects division
- Coordinate People metric data and prepare reports
- Policy/procedure queries
- Coordinate and help plan for and prepare resources based off the People calendar of events
- Complete fortnightly resource approvals through data input and
- Update, review and store position descriptions
- Complete Employee information requests through our HRIS - SuccessFactors
**About You**
- Relevant qualifications in either an HR or Business or studying part-time towards your degree
- Previous experience in an HR generalist role including providing advice to stakeholders on a broad range of people matters
- Good working knowledge of contemporary human resource practices and trends.
- Ability to build strong and trusting relationships at all organisational levels
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to persuade and negotiate with stakeholders
