**Job Description**:
General duties will include:
**Configuration Management**
- Deliver all configuration management services including Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Audit functions
- Maintenance of the Configuration Management Plan, procedures and work practices and configuration management education across the team.
- Administration of the configuration management tools (Aras Innovator)
- Maintenance of a schedule of known change management activities, projecting work effort on a rolling 12 month schedule
- Identification, collection and monitoring of configuration items in a service operations, software development and engineering context
- Identify, document and manage any changes to the functional and product baseline
- Automation for collection and verification of Configuration Items
- Maintain official Technical Data List and ensure accuracy and alignment to the Technical Data and Software Rights Schedule.

**Change and Release Management**
- Change Management in accordance with policies, processes and procedures
- Ensure, monitor and report on compliance with Change Control procedures
- Maintain accuracy of software change requests logging for recording and managing change requests
- Develop and maintain relationships with Government Change Control groups

**Qualifications**:
**Mandatory**
- Demonstrated experience in:

- establishing Configuration, Change and Release Management of a new software based service
- developing and maintaining policies, procedures and work instructions
- managing high performance outcomes through a managed service provider contract
- managing compliance with contractual obligations, policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly regarding positive relationship building and communicating effectively through both verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management, staff coordination and logistics skills

**Desirable**
- Demonstrated experience in the Defence environment
- Working knowledge of AS ISO 10007 Guidelines for Configuration Management.
- Experience using configuration management workflow automation tools
- Working knowledge of Aras Innovator
- Experience and certification in ITIL Service Management
