**About the Opportunity**

At Hitachi we are seeking a qualified and motivated **Field Service Fitter **to join our team. The role will be based in our new state-of-the-art facility in **Newcastle.** This will be a Full Time permanent role which offers a **10% field allowance** on top of a generous hourly rate.

**About the Role**
- Provide quality customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of _Construction and Mining equipment_ products.
- Conduct all repairs and maintenance jobs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Parts receipted for workshop to be tagged or binned to correct workshop
- **Ensure compliance with company's Environmental Policy, quality standards, and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.**

**About You**
- Certificates of Trade - diesel mechanic, heavy vehicle, plant mechanic - _light vehicle mechanic considered_
- Proven mechanical work experience
- Understanding and delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction
